T.R. Miller has never had a football banquet quite like the December 5, 1941 affair. The Friday night event honored Miller's first undefeated team at a locally historic venue and had a famous guest speaker of the time. Less than two days later, none of their lives would ever be the same again.

While attending a concert in Nashville, Coach Riggs was reminded of what his world was like in Brewton in 1972, playing some high school football and driving town in his 1965 Chevy Bel Air.
